龍舌蘭屬多肉植物，原產墨西哥。莖部粗短，放射狀排列生長的葉片多肉化。葉質地厚實粗硬，葉尖端具有銳刺，葉緣有撕裂狀白色的纖維產生，形成植株最大的特色。株徑大約15㎝，粗壯的花序從植株中心發育，終生開花一次。

An Agave succulent, native to Mexico. Stem stout; leaf fleshy and radially arranged, thick and hard in texture, sharp spines borne on leaf apex. Thin white curly fibers grown from the margin spreading in all directions is the most distinctive feature. The plant is 15 mm in diameter. Stout inflorescence emerging from the stem center bloom only once in a lifetime.

栽培：全日照溫暖環境，根部強健，只要排水好的介質都可以種植。高溫生長期介質乾就澆水，冬季低溫期可節水。繁殖使用分株法。

It grows well in full-sun and warm conditions. The hardy roots can adapt to all types of well-draining soil. As a summer grower, it requires watering whenever the soil appears dry during high temperature period and infrequent watering in cold winter. Propagated by ramets.

中、小型的多肉植物，適合單株盆栽欣賞排列均整的葉片。另有多種斑葉變種與葉片長短、寬窄、葉緣卷鬚長短不同的園藝個體，觀賞價值更高。

As a medium and small-sized succulent, it’s suitable for single-potted cultivation to appreciate the orderly arranged leaves. There are also variegated varieties and cultivars ornamental for various foliate lengths, widths, and marginal tendril lengths.
