肖竹芋屬多年生草本，是原產巴西的白竹芋的黃斑園藝品種。株高30~80cm。地下有根莖。葉柄長，橢圓至長橢圓葉長10~22cm，寬6~10cm，從中肋到葉緣有兩種不同深淺的綠色斑駁斑紋，葉緣波浪狀。總狀花序，苞片綠色，花白色。開花期夏季。

Goeppertia louisae ‘Thai Beauty’ is a perennial herb in the genus Goeppertia and the yellow-variegated cultivar of white Calathea louisae Gagnep which is native to Brazil. Plant height 30~80cm with underground rhizomes. Petiole long, elliptical to oblong. Leaves 10-22cm long and 6-10cm wide, with two different shades of green variegated markings spread from the midrib to the undulated leaf margin. Racemes, bracts green, flowers white. Flowering in summer.

半日照溫暖且高濕度環境，乾燥容易造成葉緣損傷焦黃。使用排水良好且富含有機質的培養土種植，不耐旱，介質略乾或觀察葉片萎軟就澆水。春至秋每季施用一次長效性綜合肥料。繁殖使用分株法。

The plant flourishes in partial-sun, warm and highly-moist environments, drought may cause the leaf margin damaged and browning. Well-drained culture soil rich in organic matter is preferred. Water when the soil slightly dries or the leaves show signs of wilting. Apply a slow-release compound fertilizer once every season from spring to autumn. Propagated by division.

具有明亮的葉色斑紋，與其他竹芋類植物混植為室內造景或遮蔭場域的地被植物用，能有畫龍點睛的效果。葉片可剪下作為切葉用於花藝設計。

This plant is grown for the bright variegated foliage which makes it a great accent plant to mingle with other Goeppertia plants for interiorscaping projects or as a ground cover in shady fields to add a finishing touch. The fresh-cut leaves can be used in flower arrangement.
