錦繡玉屬多肉植物，原產巴西。球形或短柱狀，單生或從基部叢生。高50cm，直徑10~15cm，表皮深綠色，具15~16條稜。刺座白色，中刺與側刺不易區分，15~20支黃色刺，長1~4cm，形如剛毛。美麗的黃色花，直徑5~6cm，開花期夏季。

A succulent plant of the genus Parodia, native to Brazil. Globose or short-column in shape, solitarily or emerging profusely from the base, 50 cm high and 10-15 cm in diameter, outer skin dark green, with 15-16 ridges. The central spines and radials borne on the white areoles are hardly distinguishable. 15 - 20 yellow, bristle-like spines 1 to 4 cm long. Lovely yellow flower diameter 5 - 6 cm, bloom in summer.

栽培：全日照或半日照通風環境下可生長良好，日照充足時可促進開花。炎夏時切勿讓植株曝曬，以免產生日燒等曬傷跡象。為了防止爛根等情形，需採用排水透氣的介質。高溫期生長；冬季控制澆水，避免根部損傷。

The plant favors full sun or partial sun and ventilated environment. Sufficient sun exposure can promote flowering. Plant in draining and breathable soil to avoid root rotting. A summer grower, control watering in winters to avoid root damage.

型態柔和的仙人掌，造型像皇冠。多株叢植的效果比單株種植美觀。適合用寬盆組合種植以欣賞群生之美。

The lovely cactus is like a crown. Clustered plantation is more ornamental than single planting. Suitable to plant in wide pots to display the beauty of abundance.
