疣仙人掌屬多肉植物，原產墨西哥南部，生長速度較同屬的其它仙人掌慢。圓柱狀仙人掌，莖表皮呈現藍綠色或深綠色。刺座與刺座間有絨毛，目的是為了保護植株避免陽光曝曬。每年開乳黃色小花，小花排列成環狀開放於植物頂端。

It’s a succulent plant of the genus Mammillaria which is native to southern Mexico and grows slower than other cacti of the genus. Cylindrical-shaped cactus with a blue-green or dark green stem. There is fluff between areoles to shelter the plant from sun exposure. The light yellow flowers arranged in a ring form bloom on the top of the plant every year.

栽培：全日照通風環境下可生長良好，日照充足時可促進開花。炎夏時切勿讓植株曝曬，以免產生日燒等曬傷跡象。為了防止爛根等情形，需採用排水透氣的介質。冬季溫度不可低於攝氏15℃，冬季時植株進入冬眠期，生長緩慢，可移至室內明亮處，控制澆水。若低於攝氏10℃以下，會使其凍傷，影響生長。

This plant grows well with full sun and good ventilation. Sufficient sun exposure can promote flowering, however, exposure in high summer may cause signs of scorch, such as sunburn. Plant in draining and breathable soil to avoid root rotting. Keep the air temperature above 15 °C in winter. The plant goes dormant and grows slow in winter, so better to move it to a bright indoor place and control watering. Frostbites will occur and affect the growth if the temperature dips below 10°C.
