蔓綠絨屬多年生草質藤本，為葉片黃化且容易分枝的小型化園藝品種，親本不詳。幼株莖直立，隨生長日久後莖會下垂，或依附樹幹、牆壁等垂直面攀爬。莖容易生長氣生根，以吸附攀爬。嫩芽有芽苞葉構造，有保護功能。橢圓形葉長15~25cm，寬3~5cm。園藝栽培罕見開花。

A perennial herbaceous vine in the genus Philodendron. It is a miniature cultivar with yellowing leaves and easy branching properties. The parent species unknown. Stems upright when young and drooping with age, or climbing on vertical surfaces such as tree trunks and walls. The stem often produces aerial roots to affix and climb. The tender bud is covered by cataphyll which provides protection. Leaves oval-shaped, 15~25cm long and 3~5cm wide. Flowers are seldom produced in horticultural cultivation.

半日照溫暖環境，全日照下需經馴化適應，否則會曬傷。介質使用排水良好的砂質壤土或培養土，水耕栽培也很合適。介質乾就澆水。春季施用一次長效性綜合肥料。扦插法繁殖。

The plant prefers warm and partial-sun environments and needs to be acclimated to prevent sunburn if cultivated in full-sun positions.
